Top Celebrity Wedding Hairstyles you can use for 2016

George-Clooney-Amal-Alamuddin-Wedding-PhotosA bride taking care of a wedding, no matter how grand, will still pay attention to every minute detail. This includes, albeit secondarily only to the planning and the dress, is her hair. Every bride has to consider what hairstyle to go for as it tops off her overall look on her special day. A bride’s hairstyle must go with her dress, but never overshadow it. It must compliment her veil and whichever headpiece she will be wearing. Her hairstyle must comply with the demands of having to walk down the aisle with her veil on, and when its being taken off, by the clueless groom, no least. Here are a few inspirations from celebrities!

Most celebrity brides chose to let their hair down, perfect choices as well as their chosen hairstyle complimented everything about their look. First up, Poppy Delevingne. Poppy used a balayage hand-painting technique – performed by Jack Howard to give it that high gloss, blonde finish. Amal Alamuddin married George Clooney in true Hollywood style. Amal opted for loose waves worn in a center parting, letting those dark brunette locks fall beautifully against her silk vail. Kim Kardashian, in her wedding with Kanye, had a center part and tucked it behind her ears. The look was ’70s inspired but modern. At the reception, she pulled two pieces of hair back from her temples and gathered them together with two bobby pins and put a very light sprig of babies breath at the point where the two sections met.  Kate Moss styled her blonde locks in tousled waves, and a stunning Juliet cap-style veil made of woven lace and sequins completed the look. Ashley Simpson rocked curls and loosely plaited braids. Ashley Tisdale wore a floral crown in her hair and her locks curled in loose waves. At the reception, two pieces were twisted from the side of her face and pinned in the back with flowers

At the other end of the spectrum, these celebrity brides chose to wear their hair in an updo, or a semi updo. Olivia Palermo married Johannes Huebl in a very low-key ceremony, she chose to style her brunette locks in a toussled ponytail, a trend most appropriate in the fall, showing that this low maintenance do can work for any occasion. Nicky Hilton in her fairytale wedding with James Worthschild wore her hair in a neat low bun with a side parting. Kelly Clarkson wore a Maria Elena headpiece and her hair in a loose, romantic updo. Lauren Conrad’s longtime hairstylist Kristin Ess, styled her hair in her signature loose waves on her wedding day. She accessorized with Jennifer Behr’s Arielle chignon wrap hair comb. Jessica Simpson turned to stylist Roque Jimenez who created a look he called “sexy, easy and ethereal.” Jimenez created a half up look by pulling pieces from each side of her face, twisting them, and pinning them in the back. Chrissy Teigen wore her hair in a braided messy updo for her wedding to John Legend. Kate Middleton  classic half-up style to complement her diamond Cartier tiara. Strands of hair were pulled back from each side of her face and tucked into a bun, dubbed the demi-chignon. The rest of her tresses were worn down in long cascading curls. Hilary Duff wore her hair in a high tousled voluminous bun at her Montecito wedding to Mike Comrie. The chic look is elegant and sophisticated.  Sophia Bush wore her hair pulled back in a loose up-swept chignon. Her hair was gathered at the nape of her neck and pinned back with a few loose strands in the front

These are only some of the celebrity wedding hairstyles you can steal from celebrities. At the end of the day, it is your big day, and whatever you choose to do with your hair is up to you! No bride could ever look better than you on this special occasion, celebrity or not.
